Saturday Stroll is a love story between three protagonists: the status-seeking, twenty-something Sam, her canine companion and true love, Booboo, and her boyfriend, Charlie. Sam wants a guy on her arm; Charlie wants regular sex, now only offered in small, conditional doses. The film, shot from Charlie's perspective, provides a snapshot of the seminal moment in Sam and Charlie's relationship when harsh reality displaces their 'honeymoon' fantasies. The original soundtrack assumes Charlie's emotions as he wavers from enthusiasm, to disappointment, to blaring noise in order to drown-out his girlfriend's verbal tirade. How Sam and Charlie will proceed together is the eternal question facing most couples at the moment when lust and desire evolves to the truth and consequences inherent in all relationships between two lovers.
