Documentary films have the amazing ability to present reality, even when the authors wanted to create propaganda. This was the case with “Triumph of the Will of Leni Riefenstahl”, and with less talented documentarians who filmed the Stalinist trials and the “happy life” of the Gulag. We don’t think that this film has exaggerated claims... But this film is certainly a valuable video evidence of the tragedy that came with the war in Ukraine.
