Chu Kay Yuk buys cannon for the court from the Portugueses. Sum Chi and Sum Hung lead their gang to rob it. Kay Yuk isn't able to fight back, he destroys the cannon fearing that it'll fall into Sums' hands. Calamity happens in Shanxi, Sum Hung thinks it's the right time for revolution but is opposed by Sum Chi. Sum Xuan loses his mind again and starts killing people indiscriminately. Everyone helps to catch him and put him back into the cell bathing him in medical drugs. Returning to the palace, Kay Yuk finds out that Kay Chai and Kay Sum have been trying to poison Kay Chun. He asks help from Monk Yue Yue who asks him to seek help from Yiu Kwok. To show their power, Kay Chai and Kay Sum kill Yue Yue in front of Kay Yuk making him grieved with indignation.
