Hui Tsung promotes Man Ho and grants him the Princes house. However, Man Ho is unmoved since he gradually finds that the court is a evil place. Hui Tsung realizes that Ko Kau is a tricky person while Man Ho is a man of character. He thus entrusts the latter more and more much to discontent Ko Kau.
