Chia-ming meets Ma Yung and persuades him to stop his business to avoid further conflicts between himself and Ma Yung. Ma Yung is troubled by his conflicting thoughts. Chia-ming meets Hsiao-ya by chance. The two of them tell each other the happenings since they left each other. Chia-ming feels that he still has a chance with Hsiao-ya and is very happy.
