HUNG persuades SUM to stop but is it vain. HUNG even stakes his life to gamble with SUM. During the bet, SUM discloses what HUNG has done for the triad in the past so as to disturb HUNG's mood. HUNG is eventually defeated by SUM. HUNG swallows the poison and dies. KWAN lives together with CHING and is gradually affected with CHING who possesses a strong sense of righteous. KWAN thus is willing to cure CHING neglecting the rewards. CHING is also happy to make friend with KWAN. In order to destroy CHING's plan, SUM sends AH KOW to kill KWAN. CHING feels very sorry for involving KWAN into trouble. Fortunately, KWAN has had taught CHING the way in curing oneself before he dies. Thus, CHING could gradually recover. KI is disappointed in love. She is also shut up by SUM in threatening WAH. For the sake of KI, CHING agrees on what SUM proposes……
