The Poles lovingly call their slow train Rybak, in German: the fisherman. He takes us on a journey of discovery across the north of Poland - from Stettin in the west always eastwards, in 12 hours to Bialystok. The train crosses Western Pomerania, the dreamy Kashubian country, and touches the wide, wild Baltic Sea coast with its famous tricity by the sea: the seaside resorts of Gdynia - Sopot - Danzig. Then we continue through the magical Masuria with its over 3000 deep blue lakes. We immerse ourselves in the majestic forests of West Prussia.
