Just before TIT’s execution, TSING comes to stop it as instructed by the emperor. The emperor wants POK to re-investigate the case. POK has no choice but to follow PING’s plan on the surface. PING reveals to TIT that he has discovered another wound on SUN’s body. TIT shows no response for he is determined to die. YING sneaks into the prison to reveal the truth to TIT. YING tries to kill TIT but the prison guards come to capture her on time. The emperor appreciates PING very much after the case. POK is jealous and he resorts to drink in the pub. POK meets WONG CHING in the pub. WONG CHING wants to thank POK for letting him go in the Shanxi corruption case so he tries to give suggestions to POK.
