Wei-nan sneaks into a meeting of the triad society and is shocked to find that the chief is Tung Kang. So every time when he meets. Wen-ching he is feeling uneasy. Tung Kang is smart to know it and so asks Wei-nan to protect him so that he is not free to investigate more. Wen-ching thinks that she has done something wrong to Wei-nan and begs for forgiveness. Since Wen-ching is the daughter of Tung Kang, he does not tell her the truth. Wei-chi smuggles drug for Tung. Kang and is discovered by Wei-nan. Wei-chi asks his brother to spare him. Wei-nan is torn between brotherhood and his duty.
